Soccer

In my quest to keep Wes busy this summer, I signed him up for a parks and rec soccer program through the City of Scottsdale. It's for kids 4 to 6 years old and teaches them the basics of soccer. They even get to play little scrimmage games at the end of each practice. Wes loves it! It's also kind of neat that The World Cup is going on right now too, so Daddy has been watching a lot of soccer on TV. I was out of town visiting Stephanie on the day of his 1st practice, so Daddy was able to take him. Daddy also took him out to get him this snazzy new soccer outfit to wear to his practices. Wes told my mom that Daddy picked it out for him and she asked Wes, "did Mommy buy it and Daddy put it on you, or did Daddy actually buy it for you?". Nope, all Daddy, good job Daddy! Wes listens very well to his coach and is actually pretty good with a soccer ball. We'll have to get him involved in a team one of these days.
