4th of July

We had another fabulous 4th of July at the park!

Wes fell in love with Valerie's daughter, Amy and her boyfriend. They were nice enough to play ball with him and he thought they were the greatest thing since sliced bread. He kept saying, "they are part of our family, right?"

My sweet patriotic boys!

We sang Happy Birthday to Lou Lou...and America again. At least Lou Lou always gets a big party and fireworks for her birthday celebration.

Tons of people were able to make it out to the park again this year. We were joined by Grandma and Linde of course, Papa and Lou Lou came too along with Valerie, Amy and her boyfriend, Adam and Jaime, the Petroffs, the Erhards, and even Michael and his friends. When Michael first got there, he walked up behind Wes and scared him. Wes said, "ahhh, family just keeps showing up out of no where". How great to have so much family that loves you, that they just keep showing up out of no where.

Little Lucy looked sweet and patriotic on her first 4th of July, and Nate really wanted to get his hands on that flag.

Poor Jack did not like the fireworks at all, but at least he had fun playing ball with his cousins before the sky suddenly lit on fire.

Grandma provided us all with glow necklaces to light up the park, which was a big hit, as usual. Happy 4th of July!
