San Diego here we are! We had a nice, fairly uneventful drive. The weather is cloudy, but it's COOL, that's all we're looking for.
We are staying in a beach house on the bay this year, because we've outgrown our good old room at the Beach Cottages. The boys wasted no time, checking out our new digs.
We are staying on the bottom floor of the beach house with Grandma, Linde, Jaime and Adam. The top floor was rented out by Papa, Lou Lou, Chris, Liz, Jack and Lucy.
Wes headed right out to the beach to play some ball.
Then Daddy, Wes, Chris and Jack went hunting for sand crabs.
Daddy was the master sand crab catcher.
We did some grocery shopping to prepare for the week, ordered some pizza and settled in for a week of fun.
