San Diego 2009 - Day 2

Wes loves sleeping in the hotel. Grandma got him a little kid blow up bed and he thinks it's the coolest thing ever. It's really neat to watch him take in the vacation experience this year, like he hasn't ever done this before. This is the first year he really is "getting" how special vacation is. While Grandma and Nate were catching a little early morning snooze, Wes and I headed over to 7 Eleven to get a newspaper. Wes likes to pay for things at the store, so I let him hand the cashier the money. Wes hands over his dollar and says to the cashier, "We're living in a hotel!".

For lunch I suggested we head over to El Indio, a restaurant we have much enjoyed in the past but haven't been to in years. Everyone, especially Adam, decided this was an awesome idea and thoroughly enjoyed their lunch. Well, except for Wes. Next time, we know to order him a cheese crisp instead of a folded quesadilla.

Here, Linde displays the incredible amount of cheese they stuffed into one little boy's quesadilla. Wes wished we were at Chino.

We all enjoyed a lazy day and geared up for all the fun ahead!
