Nate's 2nd Birthday Party

What better place to have a 2nd birthday party for the boy that loves stuffed animals than a stuffed animal factory?!

I made a special bear cake, for my special boy, and decorated it to look like his favorite bear, Softie Bear. He loved it! He liked seeing the bear shaped cake come out of the oven. I decorated it while he was sleeping and he had the BIGGEST smile on his face when he woke up and saw it. He kept saying, "It's Soffy Bear".

Lucy wore her party dress.

That is a sweet, sweet two year old boy!

We went to Stuffington Bear Factory, a local stuffed animal factory, for Nate's party. They are one of the oldest and only stuffed animal factory's left in America.

We had a little bear history lesson, which the younger kids didn't pay much attention to, but I learned a lot. Then we took a tour of the actual factory where they make the animals. There were bear parts everywhere!

The tour guide asked the kids to cover their ears while she used the loud bear stuffing machine. They follow directions very well.

Then it was time for everyone to make their own bears.

They stuffed them.

Gave them a bath...

...and a good brush.

Then it was time for cake and ice cream. Poor Nate started to tear up when we were singing Happy Birthday. I think all the attention was a bit much.

Poor Softie Bear cake.

Ellie was a very good girl and we barely heard one peep from her. She was content to be passed around and to sit in her seat and watch all the kids.

Nate sucked down as many juice boxes as he could get his hands on.

Then it was time to open presents! Nate got a ton of nice things. Such a lucky boy!
