Happy Birthday Nater Tot! I can't believe my sweet little boy is 2! He has turned in to such a "big boy" ever since Ellie was born. We started off celebrating his day with lunch at Chino. Nate LOVES Chino quesadillas, just like his big brother.

We were going to go to the zoo to celebrate with our little boy who loves animals, but we all woke up late because we are all still getting over colds and decided to stick closer to home.

So, we took a trip to the pet store where he could visit with some smaller animals up close.

We saw dogs, cats, birds, snakes, turtles, frogs and fish. We decided to take home a couple swimming frogs for the boys. Wes named his Jumpy and Nate named his Ribbit. Pretty good names for frogs, if you ask me.

Everybody got a good nap and we headed over to "Piter Pizza" with Grandma and Linde.

Nate liked riding on all of the vehicles, but his favorite game to play is the basketball game, which he is too small for, so Daddy has to help him.

Then, it was time for presents! Oh my goodness! This little boy isn't spoiled at all. His pile of presents is taller than he is.

Nate got lots of cool things like a Tag Junior pen just like his big brothers, but made for little boys like Nate.

He loved his card from Grandma and Linde that sang the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse theme. His favorite present was the basketball hoop from Grandma and Linde. It totally killed him, though, that he had to wait until morning for Daddy to put it together.

Nate likes:
animals, especially stuffed
sleeping
eating most fruits, vegetables and bread products
being just like his brother
balls
playing in his brother's room while he is at preschool
Nate dislikes:
having things taken from him
eating most meats nowadays
Nate's list of likes far out weighs his list of dislikes because he is such an easy going kid. Except when the red hair comes out. Don't make him mad...or you better duck, cause he's going to throw something. He is very, very tall for his age (off the charts) and also speaks very well, so people frequently think he is much older than he is. Nate is his own man. He is very independent and has no problem entertaining himself. He knows what he wants and isn't afraid to go get it...without asking Mommy or Daddy. While this trait is a little frustrating in a toddler, I know it will serve him well in life. There is just no way to describe in words how special this little boy is, but if you've ever met him, you know. Happy Birthday to the sweetest little red headed boy I know. Nater Tot, I love you so.
