Gingerbread House

It's time to build a Gingerbread House. We have done this the last two years and Wes loves it. Maybe one day I will try and brave making one from scratch, but for now we are sticking with the kits. We got a great one from Costco this year. It was the same price (or maybe even a little less) as the one I got last year, but it had a bunch of awesome stuff in it. The icing was premade and they gave us both white and green. It had a ton of candy, more than we could even use and a little gingerbread Christmas tree. There was a super cute candy wreath to hang over the door and the best part? It also had two little gingerbread men cookies to eat! Wes loved this because he always wants to eat the gingerbread house, but by the time you enjoy it for a few weeks, it is too gross to eat. I was in charge of gingerbread house construction and icing, while Wes was in charge of placing all the candy.

Nate wasn't much help, his little pincher fingers don't work quite that well yet. As you can see though, he had no problem helping us eat the cookies, and he LOVED the icing.
