Annual Railroad Park Visit

The Railroad Park put up their lights, so it was time for us to visit.

We got everyone bundled up in their winter gear. It actually turned out to be a pretty nice night, but we were glad we had the hats and gloves when we rode the train around the park.

We decided to count this as Nate's official 1st train ride at the railroad park. He has actually been on the train 2 times in the past, but he was about 1 month old both times and slept through both trips. Grandma and Linde joined us, like they have for the last couple of years. This year, Papa, Lou Lou, Lizzy, Chris and Jack came along too. All Aboard!

Wes sat up front between Papa and Lou Lou to stay all snuggly and warm.

We took our annual picture in front of their Christmas tree. Last year, there was no Nate in the picture. Just a giant belly on Mommy.

Wes ran around to hug all the different characters that were there and asked me to take his picture with each one. This is a far cry from last year, when he wouldn't get anywhere near them. I guess our trip to Disneyland helped Wes get more comfortable with giant furry characters.

As you can tell by the hat hair, fun was had by all.

Nate, also, thoroughly enjoyed his "first" train ride experience and conked out on the way home from too much fun.
