Swim Lessons

It's swim lesson time! Our pool is starting to get cold, so it's time to jump into Hubbard's pool. Nate had his first official swim lesson today and did very well. I've been practicing with him a little bit at home and now he will get the weekly practice he needs to become a full fledged fish like his brother. Wes is swimming like a champ and is of course showing much more of his skills to his teacher in his first class back than he has to us all summer.

We hadn't been to Hubbard in over a year because we decided to take last summer off and do lessons in our own pool when the teacher Wes had since he was a baby, took some time off. Then we moved, had the holidays, Nate was born, it was summer again and before we knew it, it had been over a year. We got there and signed in and were told that Wes would be in lane 6 with MaryBeth. MaryBeth? The same MaryBeth that had been his one and only teacher since he started there at 6 months old? Yes, the same MaryBeth! Even stranger, it was her first class back teaching after leaving right before we did! Can you say, meant to be? We love MaryBeth.
